(bludot felt upholstered lounge chairs in front of the mountain view)
the newly opened boulder office of whispir, a global digital communication agency, is located on pearl street in the center of boulder’s downtown walking district. the upper level office enjoys both street scenes and stunning mountain views from the multitude of windows that wrap the building.
we wanted to create an interior space that supported the sensibility of both the home office in melbourne, as well as enhanced the existing architectural features of the boulder building: the curved brick wall, the wooden wall paneling and the dark wood flooring. as such, the furniture was selected in a range of grays from light to charcoal. we added texture and dimension via the rugs, pillows and wall art. planters in terracotta, black and white were placed throughout the office, adding fresh pops of green.
the whispir team needed a variety of spaces to facilitate their working style: adjustable height desks for individual work, a lounge area for comfortable brainstorming, a large conference table with a generous monitor to connect with clients and the other whispir offices, a phone room for sales calls and a kitchen for lunch time.
